Meadowsweet

Rich in vitamin C, iron, calcium, magnesium and silica, meadowsweet is a marvellous herb for bone, ligament, joint and muscle health. Not only does it help eliminate toxins that may accumulate in joints and intensify inflammation but it has pain relieving properties too, thanks to its high salicylic acid content — the molecule from which aspirin was synthesised. In addition to these qualities, meadowsweet has a pleasantly sweet, almond-like aroma.

Turmeric

Turmeric is a potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant, making it excellent to prevent and relieve joint and muscle pain, and to promote a speedy recovery where needed. It is also a great aid to digestion – particularly of protein and fats – and it helps assimilate protein and nutrients to nourish the muscles.

Ginger

Ginger is warming and stimulates circulation and digestion. It promotes blood flow and oxygenation throughout the body. It has been traditionally used in Ayurvedic medicine to enhance the ‘fire’ in the body. It is also a natural pain reliever for tense and aching muscles and joints.

Nettle leaf

Nettle leaves have a rich, earthy, deep flavour. They are particularly nourishing – they are rich in vitamins A and C and minerals, particularly iron, calcium, silica, magnesium and potassium. All of these nutrients are essential for the maintenance of vibrant health and vitality. Nettle is also a mild diuretic that gently stimulates liver and kidney function, helping to eliminate toxins via the urine and supporting healthy, flexible joints and muscles.

Cinnamon

In addition to its sweet and warming taste, cinnamon is an invigorating circulatory stimulant, with natural anti-inflammatory and antioxidant benefits.  It eases tense and aching muscles and gently lifts fatigue.

Solomon’s seal

Solomon’s seal is a very useful herb for musculoskeletal issues. It is especially helpful for supporting stressed ligaments and helping bones to heal.

This product contains ginger, turmeric, meadowsweet, nettle leaf, cinnamon and Solomon’s seal.
