This pure Cacao Powder is a highly nutritious superfood with a rich, nutty and slightly bitter flavour. It is packed with blood pressure reducing flavonoids and healthy magnesium, has considerably more antioxidants than blueberries, more calcium than cow’s milk, and is one of the richest plant-based sources of iron on the planet.
Our cacao is grown at Zen Resort Bali, a sustainable wellness retreat in Bali, Indonesia. The beans are harvested and fermented before being dried, roasted and ground into powder form.
NB: This is an unrefined powder, which means its 'bits' are larger and less soluble than those you will find in more refined cacao powders. We have deliberately chosen this form because we want to maximise the proportion of cacao butter in the powder, which is the reason for why it is so nutritious and delicious!
