Aloe vera
Our herbal hand sanitiser is particularly soothing, cooling and moisturising thanks to the addition of pure aloe vera powder. Aloe vera is traditionally used to soothe and heal any burns, wounds, cuts, inflammation and irritation; it protects your hands from the very same issues that overuse of other harsher sanitisers may expose it to.
Calendula tincture
This recipe also contains 90% alcohol calendula tincture, to ensure highly effective antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal properties combined with calendula’s natural soothing properties. Calendula is a gentle but powerful wound healer, having been shown to promote skin cell repair. It also acts as an antiseptic, keeping infections at bay. This bright orange flower has anti-inflammatory properties and is rich in antioxidants that protect the skin from harmful solar radiation, reducing the likelihood of hyperpigmentation and premature ageing.
Glycerine
Natural plant-based glycerin increases skin hydration, relieves dryness, softens the skin and supports the skin’s natural barrier function. It is gently cleansing and soothing on sensitive skin.
Bergamot essential oil
Bergamot essential oil has a refreshing, uplifting scent. It promotes relaxation, alleviates fatigue, stress and anxiety, and helps to prevent any infections.
Peppermint essential oil
Peppermint essential oil has a delightfully cooling and refreshing scent. Since it has antiseptic properties, applying it to your hands will help kill harmful microorganisms. It is a natural decongestant, so smelling it as you apply the hand sanitiser can naturally open the airways and help you breathe more deeply. The energising scent of peppermint also has the added benefits of alleviating tension, headaches and migraines.
This product contains alcohol (70%), calendula, aloe powder, vegetable glycerine, water, bergamot essential oil and peppermint essential oil.
Apply and rub into dry hands as and when required. External use only. Do not apply to broken or sensitive skin and avoid contact with eyes. If in eyes, rinse with water for several minutes and if eye irritation persists seek medical attention. Highly flammable liquid and vapour. Keep away from heat, sparks, open flames, and hot surfaces. Store in a cool and dry place. Keep out of reach of children.
