A Light Cooling Cream of Chickweed & Chamomile
Cooling Cream is a light, steroid-free cream for sensitive skin that feels hot, tight or uncomfortable. Chickweed, a traditional cooling herb rich in soothing mucilage, is blended with chamomile and Roman chamomile oil in a light sunflower base. It leaves a cool, calm feeling on the skin, and it is gentle enough for children over three.
The Herbs
Cooling Cream brings together traditional cooling herbs with a light, protective base. Chickweed and chamomile soothe and calm sensitive, irritated skin, while sunflower oil supports the skin's natural barrier. Together they make a cream for cool, comfortable skin at the first sign of a flare-up.
To Cool and Soothe
Chickweed (Stellaria media): A traditional Western herbal remedy celebrated for its cooling properties, rich in mucilage that supports hydration and the skin's natural barrier against irritants.
Chamomile (Chamomilla recutita): Helps ease irritation, calm the appearance of redness and keep the skin balanced.
Roman Chamomile Essential Oil: Soothes flaky, irritated skin and gives the cream its soft, comforting aroma.
To Protect
Sunflower Seed Oil (Helianthus annuus): A light base oil that supports the skin's natural lipid barrier without feeling heavy or greasy.
Texture & Scent
A light, breathable cream that settles into the skin with a cool, soothing feel and a soft, gentle chamomile scent.

For Hot or Irritated Skin: Smooth a thin, even layer over the area at the first sign of discomfort. Let it sink in without rubbing, and reapply through the day as needed.
After Sun or Wind: Apply gently to skin that feels hot, tight or over-exposed.
Layering: For skin that feels both hot and dry, apply Cooling Cream first, then follow with Zen Maitri Hydrating Cream.
