This soothing, cleansing and toning gel helps to prevent breakouts from forming and addressing existing ones. It supports the skin’s natural healing processes and alleviates any irritation and inflammation. It controls oil and conditions the skin with tea tree and lavender essential oils and antiinfective calendula tincture. All of these qualities make it a very helpful product to support those with skin conditions such as acne.
Aloe vera gel
Aloe vera plant is wonderful for its nutrient content: it deeply nourishes the skin with vitamins A, B, C and E, choline, folic acid, magnesium and zinc. Additionally, it contains mucilaginous compounds which are soothing, softening, hydrating and healing.
Lavender essential oil
We added a few drops of lavender essential oil to our blemish control gel for its antiseptic, and anti-inflammatory properties. It addresses bacterial infections, unclogs pores and reduces inflammation, helping to prevent and heal any acne breakouts.
Tea tree essential oil
Tea tree essential oil is well known for its powerful antiseptic properties. It is a key addition to our blemish control gel as it disinfects and speeds up healing of various pruritic blemishes and minor wounds, preventing any further spread of infection.
Calendula tincture
We added calendula tincture to this recipe for its anti-inflammatory, healing and antioxidant properties. This bright orange flower has anti-inflammatory properties and is rich in antioxidants that protect the skin from harmful solar radiation, reducing the likelihood of hyperpigmentation and premature ageing. It also supports skin healing.
Vitamin E
Vitamin E is a potent antioxidant, which helps protect the skin from various adverse environmental factors, including air pollution and solar radiation. Moreover, it speeds up the healing process and reduces the appearance of hyperpigmentation, whether it be acne scars, age spots or any other imperfections.
This product contains Aqua, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract, Ethanol, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Panthenol, Sodium Phytate, Sodium Hydroxide, Phenoxyethanol, Potassium Sorbate, Benzoic Acid, Lavandula Angustifolia Oil, Melaleuca Alternifolia Leaf Oil, Tocopherol, Geraniol*, Limonene*, Linalool*. *Naturally occurring in the essential oils.
* For blemish control: Apply a small amount of the gel directly onto blemishes or areas prone to breakouts. Use twice daily, morning and evening, after cleansing your skin.
- For soothing irritated skin: Gently smooth over irritated or inflamed areas to provide calming relief as and when required.
